The MY23+ Amarok Tailgate Assist kit (4770030) is also suitable for MY23+ built Ford Ranger vehicles fitted with an OE ball stud on the driver’s side of the tailgate. While the standard MY22+ Ford Ranger Tailgate assist kits (4740060 & 4740070) are recommended for vehicles supplied from the factory without this ball stud present.
Due to the variability seen in vehicle supply, it is recommended to stock both variants to ensure vehicle compatibility.
