Ideal for use on any vehicle. The XTrax II features a completely new design that has been specifically Engineered for Maximum Traction in Sand, Mud, and Snow. They are designed to bend and flex to suit the wheel tracks and grip as much of the tire as possible. The New Xtax II will now be sold in pairs with a robust carry wrap (per track), which has also been upgraded and is made out of a heavy-duty reinforced PVC with easy-to-read instructions on the inside. As a pair the new XTrax II will offer you the ability to gain positive traction whether one end or one side of your vehicle needs assistance.

Safety and Maintenance
- All observers are to be at least 20m away from recovery and away from the direction of recovery at all times.
- Never push the vehicle during recovery.
- Never place any part of your body under the vehicle during recovery operations.
- Ensure the immobile vehicle is stable and not in a position where rollover could occur before getting out of the vehicle or commencing vehicle recovery.
- Inspect X-Trax II for damage before use, if damage to the cable exists, discard it.
Environment
Please take care in preserving the environment. Once the vehicle is recovered, fill in any holes ensure the surroundings are safe for the next vehicle, and return to the original conditions.
Instructions
Basic Recovery

1 Use a shovel to clear enough area under the wheel in the direction of recovery. Caution: Ensure the vehicle is stable. |

2 Place XTrax II as far under that side of the wheel, against the tyre. Push the earth back under XTrax II to ensure it is touching the tire. Repeat for each bogged wheel. |

3 Using Low Range, slowly drive off in the direction that you have prepared and laid the XTrax II. At all times, avoid wheel spin on XTrax II. |
Deep Recovery

1 Jack up the vehicle so the bogged wheel is raised. |

2 Pack as much earth as possible under a wheel, lay down XTrax II, and place the tire on top of the end furthest away from the direction of travel. Repeat for each bogged wheel. |

3 Using Low Range, slowly drive off in the direction that you have prepared and laid the XTrax II. At all times, avoid wheel spin on XTrax II. |
Small Step / River Bed Recovery

1 Move the vehicle far enough back from the oversize rock to allow a safe work environment. |

2 Unroll XTrax II down the rock surface, some smaller rocks may be required for larger steps for ease of climbing. |
